Thank you for choosing HANKO JAPAN. We ship our custom-made hanko stamps within Japan and worldwide.

PROCESSING TIME
All hanko stamps are custom-made to order. Production begins immediately after your order is confirmed and payment is received.

Production time: 3-7 business days
During this time, our skilled artisans carefully craft your personalized hanko stamp.

SHIPPING METHODS AND DELIVERY TIMES
We ship via reliable courier services with tracking.

Domestic Shipping (Japan):
- Standard shipping: 1-2 business days after production
- Total time from order: 4-9 business days (production + shipping)

International Shipping:
- North America (USA, Canada): 7-10 business days after production
- Europe: 7-10 business days after production
- Asia-Pacific: 7-10 business days after production
- Rest of World: 7-10 business days after production
- Total time from order: 10-17 business days (production + shipping)

Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location, customs processing, and carrier schedules.

SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on:
- Your shipping destination
- Package weight and dimensions
- Selected shipping method

You will see the exact shipping cost before completing your purchase.

For domestic (Japan) orders: Shipping fees typically range from ¥500-¥1,000
For international orders: Shipping fees vary by destination

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order ships, you will receive:
- Shipping confirmation email
- Tracking number
- Link to track your package

You can track your shipment using the tracking number provided on the carrier's website.

DOMESTIC ORDERS (JAPAN)
For customers within Japan:
- Orders are shipped via Japan Post or Yamato Transport
- Delivery to most areas within 1-2 business days after production
- No customs clearance required
- Shipping fees include consumption tax

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Customs, Duties and Taxes:
- Customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply depending on your country's regulations
- These charges are the responsibility of the recipient
- HANKO JAPAN is not responsible for any customs delays or additional charges
- We recommend checking your country's customs policies before ordering

We declare the actual value of goods on all customs forms and cannot mark items as "gifts" or undervalue items to help you avoid customs charges.

ORDER VERIFICATION
For your security, we may contact you to verify your order information before shipping, especially for large orders or international shipments.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
We ship to most locations within Japan and to most countries worldwide. However, shipping may not be available to certain remote areas or regions with shipping restrictions. If we cannot ship to your location, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESS
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for:
- Packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Delays or returns caused by incomplete or inaccurate shipping information
- Additional shipping charges for re-delivery

For domestic orders: Please include your full address in Japanese or provide accurate English address details
For international orders: Please provide your address in English with postal code

If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for reshipping costs.

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
If your package is lost or damaged during shipping:
1. Contact us immediately at contact.hankojapan@gmail.com
2. Provide your order number and tracking information
3. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue

For damaged items, please provide photos of:
- The damaged item
- The packaging
- The shipping label

DELIVERY DELAYS
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Customs processing (international orders)
- Weather conditions
- Carrier delays
- Natural disasters
- Public holidays (Japan and destination country)
- Pandemics or other extraordinary circumstances

If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable:
- We will contact you to arrange re-shipment
- You will be responsible for additional shipping costs
- If we do not hear from you within 30 days, the order may be cancelled without refund

MULTIPLE ITEMS
If you order multiple items:
- All items will be shipped together once production is complete
- If items have different production times, your entire order will ship when all items are ready
- Contact us if you need items shipped separately (additional shipping charges may apply)

ORDER CHANGES
Once production begins, we cannot change your shipping address or cancel your order. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

If you need to make changes, contact us immediately at contact.hankojapan@gmail.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request if production has not yet started.
